Hayes Custom Boats is owned and operated by Jayson Hayes outside of Springfield, Oregon in the heart of the birthplace of the Mckenzie River Drift Boat. I have a passion for building these fine wood drift boats with a high attention to detail and quality using the finest materials and finishes on the market today with a construction method that has proven to be an extremely durable end product that still holds on to the classic lines and characteristics of the traditional McKenzie drift boats that have evolved over the last century. I have been designing and building drift boats for the last 20 years and running the rivers of the Pacific Northwest and have learned what works for the durability and longevity of a wood boat. I can provide you with a beautifully handcrafted boat ready for the water or even handle the repairs of your current wood boat.
