Slightly larger than the 16 1/2 X 50 Sport Guide but essentially the same hull shape. With this boat you basically have the room of a 17 X 54 but handles like a much smaller boat. This boat is a great choice for those that need a nimble boat for multi day trips and need just a little more room without sacrificing performance. It comes standard like all our boats with Hydrotek plywood which is manufactured to the top marine standard of BS1088. Each boat features Port Orford Cedar frames, clear Douglas Fir floor boards and White Oak chines, gunwales and chine caps with stainless steel fasteners and your choice of White Oak or Mahogany bow stem. This boat is offered in a stackable guide version like the one shown here on this page or with a traditional style oarsman rope style seat.

Beauty
Different marine plywood can make for a beautiful contrast in color like the rub guards installed on this boat. They are light colored 1088BS Okoume plywood which stand out against the boat’s darker Hydrotek hull.
